Just got the bike back...
No glue and whole BB assembly over tightened.
They have managed to salvage and there shouldn't be any lasting damage but I've been told by the mechanic it definitely wasn't put together to spec and to take the invoice to the original vendor to claim back.
This is karma for trading in a kids bike from Argos. I don't think I can cope with the hassle for the sake of £35.
