What time is it? Watches and horology

I like dials to be functional and I dislike watches being tributes to things that aren't watches.

Having extra numbers and a dial made to look like a piece of old motorbike ticks that box.

Porsche or Ferrari watch anybody? I thought not.

Hah, when I was at Uni I had a Swatch that was designed with Porsche, I really liked it - was basically a Swatch with a rubber strap. I'd buy it again if I could find it.
