Do Man City actually like playing football? 🤔

City looking clueless.

spent most of today catching glimpses of the Citeh game, here in Medellin, most Colombians think engerleesh clubs are shite, except for chelsea and manure.
alot of Medellin and Internacionale (huge rivals here) shirts being worn today downtown.

Congratulations to City for equalling their best ever run in the CL. Guardiola should be given a contract extension. Clearly a manager above all others. Still on for the double.
I misspoke when I suggested that Everton had joined the European elite with the elimination of Lincoln from the FA Cup. Of course they must wait for Leicester's position in the CL to be determined. If Leicester win, Everton don't qualify for the Europa.

Er City made the semi-finals just last season...
-
• #134957
Since when have facts gotten in the way of a sarcasm round here?
-
• #134958
If Leicester win the Champions League and United win Europa, the fourth place PL finisher won't qualify for CL next year. Fingers crossed.
-
• #134959
Very good.
-
• #134960
Bullshit.
-
• #134961
How so? The max any country can send to the CL is five teams.
-
• #134962
You're assuming that Untited are going to finish fifth. That's the problem right there. They're up against bottlejob Klopp.
-
• #134963
Shame that Man City got knocked out last night, our chances of an easy draw in the next round disappeared with them.
-
• #134964
Ha, gotcha. I'd be happy with an Arsenal 4th place->Europa finish. A fitting send-off.
-
• #134965
Spursday nights on C5 will never be the same again.
-
• #134966
Unless you're Liverpoool
-
• #134967
Or Everton, in my scenario. If Arsenal finish 4th (or 5th), Everton surely finish outside the top 6 and Lukaku is playing CL football in a different blue shirt.

• #134968
*waves down at pisti
hiya

• #134969
Oh, so they did. How wonderful. They got as far as Leeds did. Must have slipped my mind. Such was the explosion of football excellence.
Oh well, congratulations of their second best finish ever. A commendable achievement.

While I know that City are almost nailed on for the double, it would be nice if Arsenal won their semi final and Wenger could go out losing to either Chelsea or Tottenham in the FA Cup Final.

Karanka sacked.
Presumably because McLaren is available.
-
• #134972
Someone just told McLaren
-
• #134973
Surely beating Tottenham would be the best thing?
-
• #134974
Jermain fucking Defoe back in the England squad. I know injuries are an issue, but fucking hell.

• #134975
Well fuck me, Rooney's been in for the last 10yrs so why not?
