Agreed, all the sim works hardware is super nice

Back on topic - one of the nicest bikes I've seen posted here. Just right.

• #305
Looks saawweeeeeeeettt

I do quite like it In a monoral kind of way plus the geo in small is very similar to my ritchey logic . But oh the press fit bb!!! Anyway they are rarer than the logic.

Saw you at RP as well. Looked like a silent hunter.

Why are you against the Pro bolt system? I haven't seen it in the flesh but they look pretty sick to me
-
• #309
Nothing against the bolt system itself*, and they do look pretty swell, but I want to use one of these to mount my Garmin.
- although I'm under the impression that Tester has some unkind words about angled clamping forces, but I doubt I weigh enough to trouble any sufficiently torqued bolt, regardless of direction.

deda superzero. cheap, low profile and banging looking
-
• #311
Its what I'm going with on my current build. The superleggero is the same price and lighter though.
-
• #312
yes, but it hasn't got that fattened profile like the superzero. and it's all about looks
-
• #313
Forgive me, Form > Function always.

The Superzero does look fucking banging, but on a bike with all round tubes I'm erring towards the Superleggero. Would get the Superleggero bars as well if I was made of money.
My friend has a Superzero on his Focus, which is all massive angled carbon and it looks wicked. I think more trad tube shapes might suit this better.

seen this bike on the genesis instagram account this morning #instafamous

I've been looking at the superleggero stem too (to fit with rounded ritchey tubes).
Where did you see it at the same price as the superzero??
-
• #317
Superzero at 74.99
Superleggero at 79.99The black one is cool
-
• #319
Where'd you score that one?
Haven't seen that logo-ingBut looks too fancy for my wallet.
-
• #320
This looked smashing this morning. Well done!

Superleggero RS Limited Edition.

• #322
Bike looks awesome! Def one of the best Volares I've seen.
Regarding the paintjob. Is that actually raw steel clearcoated, or a metallic paint? I'm assuming a metallic effect. Wouldn't it be in danger of rusting if just a clearcoat, as it's steel rather than ti?

• #323
Stainless Steel luxury, no need for paint.
-
• #324
80 bucks is my limit for a thing to hold the handlebars in place too.

Just got a superleggero (regular edition) for 40 on eBay. It's going on the ritchey.
(Not that I'm a weight weenie)
