Owning a Bowman I obviously liked what they were doing in 2015 and the frame is great but the slide into "all social meedz" marketing and forthcoming 5th Floor hookup is meh squared.

Once they associate with 5th Floor you have to pick whether you are a Jet or a Shark.

Why the hate for the 5th Floor? They organise an open season event at HH and the CX summer series and have a strong women's team.

Cycling could do with more clubs like that.

The ridiculous playground style rival gang posturing thing they did in the early days, I'm sure they're all lovely now and they clearly do good things, but their brand association for me is what they used to be, not what they are.

Give a dog a bad brand association....

I remember mocking them early days, but now they seem to have stopped being about whipskidz on top of car parks and bad boy posturing and threats. These days from what I gather they are actually a quite dedicated bunch of cyclists, organising events, rides etc. I am impressed by how they have turned it around from rather shaky origins to where they are now.

Plus most of the team now aren't from back in the early days. They're a good bunch.

Unlike ELF.

Personally I miss the old 5th Floor.
