Still trying to decide between Insulated Gilet and PT rain gilet. Any advice on this would be much appreciated.

Not sure I'll wear my insulated gilet again until next winter.

Thats the thing, seems too warm now, however it rains a lot around my way and don't fancy a whole rain jacket. I thought a rain gilet would be a great idea.

You also thought that buying a Trek was a good idea.

Have spoken to quite a few people and the consensus was the IBG was their favourite bit of kit
-

TBH they are for different things.
IBG is for chilly days, probably <10c depending on how hot you run. Stick it on first thing, maybe as the tempo/temperature rises, you can take it off and stow it.
Rain gilet is for days where it might piss down but you want to ride anyway. I wouldn't take the rain gilet out on a cold day for example, not without something more substantial underneath it.

The chartreuse is nice and clear on the road even at dusk imho. I have the brevet gilet and hardshell in it. At night the most important bit is the reflective panels, tapes etc. Even on my hardshell I think the Rapha logo is reflective so helps more at night than the colour.
colour is ok. There are nicer. But it's definitely wearable and it is visible. -

I banged insulated gilet for morning rides in, with jersey and armwarmers.

How hot could I ride in the classic II ?
-
• #28263
No limit for me. I don't find it any less hot than a poly jersey in the same weather.

Didn't Sports Direct just buy Agent Provocateur?
Could make for some interesting additions to the City range.
-

They sure did... Agent Provocateur will include the plus-size range for the new boss' weekends away
Write to them and plead your case. It's worth a shot.
