If this was bigger would be very tempted for Madame Jambon

I know right. Get some new wheels and 2nd hand Tiagra 4700 would be a well mannered canal path weapon.

Even fit mini-v would be feasible given the amount of clearance.

Hmm have messaged the seller about size so nobody buy this. Please.
-
• #14809
i won't .. isnt it a bit small for you?
-
• #14810
For Madame Jambon as her Bobbin isn't really cutting it for longer rides nowadays.

Do bear in mind that the old small frame have a ridiculously steep seat angle, that a saddle with a lots of setback may be needed, unless she liked SMP.

Will bear in mind, got a feeling it's too small but will measure up the Bobbin for comparison tonight. Sizing aside can't help thinking it'd make a lovely neo-retro tourer.

• #14815
Not too small, but actually too big, since very steep seat tube mean the top tube feel more like 2-3cm longer.

Thanks again for sizing info

Possibly self flattery thinking people wouldn't snap this up, but it's too small so please don't hold back on my count. You guys know what to do...

That's a dura ace track crank on that bike; or a road crank from yesteryear?

Looks like an anodized 7400 (Road) crankset

Huge changes to my Captain Sensible bike: lowered the rear rack for Scoble; trimmed mudguard stays; fitted a snazzy bell.

The hell was it like before if that's it lowered?!
Edit: Not sure if the tongue in cheek way this was meant comes across in type so adding this to make sure you know I'm only kidding.

Sensible changes.

Higher!

Can wedge a baguette under there for handy transportation so still functionally high.

"functionally high"
Finished these a while ago. Multicam and desert tri 1000D waterproof cordura, Ortlieb mounting system, pretty large capacity, Pouch for a 1 litre Nalgene and three slip pockets for three beers. Happy with the first attempt. Heading to Corsica in May for a couple of weeks of bliss, will no doubt tweak afterwards.
