it's not a slate....
-
• #803
Sure as hell isn't a slate. Slates cooler.

You don't have to remove your front brake when you have a flat
-
• #805
Well, you don't need to removed your front brake when you have a flat anyway.
-
• #806
Or your front wheel for that matter!
-
• #807
true, but have you ever tried changing a tube with a bike attached to your wheel?
-
• #808
On the Lefty? yes, it was piss easy.
-
• #809
Can you see anything that stopped you from removing the entire tyres off the front wheel?
-
• #810
Tubeless does significantly reduce the requirement to remove the tyre, also.
-
• #811
Not riding a bike significantly reduces chances of flat tyres tbh.
-
• #813
Not true! My Klein Criterium AND my Cannondale Silk Road both had flat tyres, I noticed, when hanging up the washing the other day in the room which has both of those bikes mounted on the wall.
-
• #814
Flat/gone down due to latex tubes.
-
• #815
I found it really annoying handling a wheel with 9kg bike attached.
Turn it upside down.
Genuine question, had you ridden a bike with a Lefty before?
-
• #816
just for the day once
-
• #817
my work / gravel bike:
-
• #818
Didn't you have a rotor stem on there? Lovely bike though
-
• #819
yeh I keep rotating the enve to rotor based on what I ride more

That new Fox fork really needs some work, if it's going to look like anything other than a broken mtb fork :-/
-
• #821
It still looks better than a Laüf.
-
• #822
There are creatures living at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean that look better than that.
-
• #823
True. The Laüf is like the blue-waffle of forks.
-
• #824
If only Rock Shox would come out with a RS-1 in gravel flavor.
-
• #825
agreed, at the same time I think suspension forks are a bit rubbish and unnecessary
What makes this better than a cannondale slate?
