First ride in for a few months, sore hamstring isn't quite as recovered as I hoped (although going straight from bed onto the bike in about 10 minutes was probably part of the reason). Quite enjoyed the knowledge that I was unfit so could mainly ride at an easy pace, had a white van happily keep its distance whilst I took primary past a rubbish truck and some roadworks.
Probably took me about 5 minutes longer from getting out of bed to being at my desk compared to the tube, with the saving on tube fare it's basically exercise I'm getting paid to do.
You picked a good day for your comeback. I tubed. Ugh. Somehow damaged the chain on Sunday (probs my massive thigh musculature and off the scale powerage). Suggestions for stronger chain for single speed?
