The pink doesn't really work with the stain, and two shades of stain makes it look even more 2003.

And needs better photos.

Agree. Paint it black and put the pink accents somewhere the tyre won't touch it. @user74548

Built this up for the misses the weekend. I'm unsure of frame though, headtube badge says Smithfield cycles Birmingham.

Basil borderless front rack for the Spicer, and new bontrager tyres and a 20t cog, but not in this pic.
Nos French flag silva tape for the French lopro because why not. Definitely need to take silly stickers off the disc but they cover scratches, matching non-beater discs is a must!

Switched from one cheap carbon seatpost that was slipping to a different cheap carbon seatpost that's clicking.

You know what that means, new bike time.

Now that sounds like a plan.

In a few minds what to do with this, period correct would be 8 speed DA-740X with integrated brake/shift levers. Wouldn't mind 9 speed DA-7700 also. Or 10 speed Record alu/carbon would look nice. Was also pondering this morning 10 speed Force, the shiny grey parts would look pretty good. Or otherwise a Mavic electronic groupset. Or 11 speed silver Athena.

10 speed 7800?

Fuck yes! Deserves its own build thread imo

Modern group with more classic cranks? -

I support this. Frame is incredible!

Mavic electronic groupset
have fun with that! Zap was impossible to work right when it was new, let alone now...

About to get my spray on

Also considering 7800 yeah and have some of the group sat around just in case, I know functionally it's awesome but I prefer aesthetically the other groups so it's rather at the back of my mind.
If I go with it I can't imagine i'll use the 7800 crankset but as @PhilDAS says some more classic cranks. I've a few Specialites TA Zephyr cranksets put aside for that eventuality, like these but the double versions:

Yeah apparently so.. had the group sat around a few years now and still mulling what to do with it, try it or just sell it.
Functionally I've no doubt Athena 11 would be best fit and get me riding it most, Mavic probably the least sensible.
Somewhere in between all the others.
Hi,
I'm a A Level Product Design student making a bike rack. Any feedback on the finished product would be great to add into my evaluation pages. The deadline is Tuesday so anything quick would be great. It is supposedly a product made for Rapha so stuff to do with the image of Rapha and RCC would be good as well. PLEASE HELP!!
This is the initial design brief: The product will be a form of bike rack or holder. This will not only store a bike but accessories as well. The needs of the user require the product to be as small as possible whilst also taking advantage of the small floor spaces available.
Thanks,
Joel
