Somehow the Boardman Comp is my favourite. I've ridden it nearly every day since I built it and it just gets better. Fitted a Hope BB and some Gravel Kings this week and its dreamy.

Selling all of the above this year and I'm going to hang onto the Boardman TK Comp and the Pinarello Pista Onda.

I won't be doing deep sections but basically yusss

I thought it was used for people who "need" an odd size like 121mm, like Chris Froome's stem, and rental (track) bikes.

Saw some pictures of the Amsterdam velodrome back in the day where all the rental bikes had these.

Maybe bike fitting too. I remember seeing a photo of how hey did their bike fitting (like the NJS dudes) and I thought it looked a lot like a bike on a turbo trainer.

I guess some of these were quite old stems and aimed at the NJS crowd, so may also be for that reason.
