I was full of respect for the fact that you were being so thoughtful and courteous. That's probably because I am quite old - it's a very old-fashioned approach.

I was in a desperate place once and a member on here who had never met me before, gave me a free bike that let me get to and from work and helped me a lot. I'm in a better place now and genuinely hoped somebody who might need it more than me would take it.
One must also consider the feelings of their significant other though hey ;)

Told myself that my girlfriend would kill me for bringing home another bike. I told her later that she'd be proud of me for letting a frame go that I could have had and she said I was stupid...
