....here's one for the vets amongst you I'm trying find any info on the cycling career of Ray Plimmer who was racing from the 1960's, he died recently and a close cycling pal of his is trying to research into his cycling palmares from the time he started racing, I understand he was a useful "tester" and belonged to a London club as a youngster he thinks he may have even been an Independant or Pro in the early 60's, he was based in New Cross London SE14 and his full name was Raymond Charles Plimmer.......does the name ring a bell with anyone? any help gratefully appreciated
