I think he means cryptic in its true sense not the "cryptic crossword" bollocks which is just a codified way of presenting an anagram. I fucking hate anagrams, my spelling is fucking atrocious as it is, how am I meant to cope if you jumble all the fucking letters up.
Anyway, I know where this s, might even go get it after work...
