I am reluctantly selling my treasured Boardman road bike.

In truly excellent condition; I've never commuted on this bike, never in the
wet (or at least I've immediately bailed on the ride) and for various reasons
ridden it mostly around Barcelona, Majorca or Germany where the roads are far
more forgiving than the pothole mess that is the UK...

Boardman bikes are really underrated; the bike handles really well even with
the deep-dish wheels, and it's surprising just how much lighter this bike is
compared to friend's £3000 bikes even though I haven't tried to reduce weight
at all.

People on here don't seem to spend this kind of money on complete bikes. For that money I'd want to choose my own parts. Also despite it potentially being a good bike, it's a boardman, associated with Halfords and so again I think you'll struggle on here. You'll end up dropping it lower than you wanted to go. You'll make the most money by splitting it and taking the frameset to eBay I'd suggest. But good luck all the same.

Not being funny but have you tried putting it for sale on Bike Radar? It's a better audience for road bikes. Also good photos will really help, if you move the saddle back so it's clamped in the middle of the rails, slam the stem down and level the bars it could only help the sale.
