ok i had convinced myself i didn't need a nitch until i watched that.

There's some "spoilers". Half the fun is discovering what's possible within the world, Dunkey shows loads of cool stuff so if you'd rather discover that yourself then don't watch.

Honestly, this game gives freedom unlike anything I've played before, except maybe Scribblenauts. It took me a while to stop wading in to enemies with my sword, and looking for the secrets the Nintendo devs have put in everywhere instead.

And the climbing! So good!

I'm quite enjoying The Witcher 3. Thanks @skydancer. The levelling seems a bit odd, I've only just got to level 3 and have been fighting level 7 enemies.

I've started playing Gwent which is not something I ever imagined admitting to.

Worse is that I'm seriously looking for physical cards on eBay and seeing if anyone wants to play IRL.

Leveling is quite frustrating - particularly as you get further and have a ton of quests still to do which give you 1xp as you've advanced so quickly past them. I'm level 20 on a second play through (which I'm enjoying much more than the first) and am finding I've stalled and can't hit level 23. I've either got quests at level 9/10 (reward 1xp) or level 30 (unpossible).

I'm surprised you've found levelling frustrating , it's seems really organic to me and I've always been levelled on or just below what the quest require. Maybe I've been lucky? I've just got to level 30 and decided to do Heart of Stone DLC before finishing the main game, no idea if this is the best way, lots of conflicting advice on interwebz!

Didn't find it a problem the first run but I skipped a lot of quests. Now I'm doing it for 100% (hence getting into Gwent) and it's sloooow!

Anyone planning on buying Diablo on the PS4, watch out for the Polish version!
I bought it on the PlayStation app and told it to download, got home and it was in forrin! Had to delete it and find the English version (which is nearly twice the size)
Also external HDD support now exists! Just need to buy a USB3 HDD so i can utilise.

Ah, I see. I haven't skipped any quests (except for gwent, which I'm actually regretting a bit now) but yeah all the witcher contracts give you bugger all xp and you just discover more and more. I not sure I'll be able to replay it when I've finished, I've already sunk so much of my life into it! Did you do the DLC's before or after completing the main story?

If I were to play through again I'd finish HoS before the main story. Not sure about BaW - depends on how the main story ended.

Worth knowing - tbh I haven't bought the DLCS - still haven't too much fun with hitting 100% but as I'm only on "The Play's The Thing" for main storyline I'll probably see if I can install and complete before I finish all that Ciri nonsense. Gwent first. I think I may have missed a card and need to know if I have to restart (I'm a quick-saver not a full saver and don't know how far ago I missed Olivier's card or if it's salvageable)

not sure what I'm missing - suspect skellige cards mostly. maybe some monsters. I've done all the quests except old pals which hasn't triggered yet - didn't play lambert when he was in novigrad so i'm waiting to get them all at House of Witcher later in the game.

Yeah, I just played a random Skellige merchant and it popped up, thought I had more to go really, signed up for the beta a little while ago but not heard anything of it.
