was there a couple of weeks back, is nice, but I feel overpriced for the experience, dumplings are good, and the other dishes on the menu are good as well, but they're doing the small plate thing, where dishes come out at different times, and eating feels slightly disordered.
I'm also a bit spoiled by having had dumplings in Melbourne during chinese new year, and remember getting a bowl of 10/12 dumplings and digging through those, so when I only get 3-4 per serving at places like my neighbour or the other option out east mama lan (whose dumplings I prefer to tell you the truth) https://www.mamalan.co.uk/find-us
I feel a bit shortchanged -

Preach. Also I've been eating and buying this stuff for years, and I didn't know what it was called until now. I love the distinctly unimpressed look on her face.

Eat on the street, go where most locals go, I tried a bunch of places but I don't recall names, let alone finding them on google.
This is said to be the best place for pad thai in Thailand, quite scenic, but I had better in Chang Mai. Expect queue, get the orange juice.

^^ Onion and Italian sausage browned, fennel seeds, barley, garlic, wine, beef stock by the ladle over 40 mins or so (like a risotto), spinach, parsley, olive oil and back pepper. Fucking delicious.
Anyone been to Som Saa?
