A bit of advice? trying to strip the moldy contract paint from my bathroom (only in a small spot, and don't be alarmed, ventilation is now sorted). Tried using my infrared stripper which raised a small spot, tried scraping and the plaster fell away revealing some more, white plaster underneath.
Is this 'tanking', or backing plaster? And would I be better stripping of the top layer of plaster and tiling on to that? That would make the tiles a better level match to the ones next to them, as there would be a bit of a step as it is.
Nice work!^
