So, while the Champions League may bring us comedy, and this week it certainly has, the Premier League is an altogether more serious business and nothing is as serious and gritty as Stoke grinding out a 0-0 away from home in a mid week fixture.
Provided that Stoke roll over when we play them in just over a week - yet another untelevised away game for Chelsea - last's night's game could be decisive in this year's competition. While Guardiola refused to concede that Citeh were out of the race despite being 10 points down with only 11 games to play, the gap now requires a collapse and a comeback of PSG/Barcelona proportions.
Chelsea need 24 points or for a smaller number provided Man City and Tottenham drop points.
