Super! See you there. Yes, I no longer need a sledgehammer. I acquired one elsewhere, although the ground was so soft I probably could have driven the spikes in with a brick.

popped back with a fellow conservation volunteer this morning,

cut off excess stakes, (at a water-shedding angle),
and burn all the hedgeline debris.
