Aesthetically yeah but no compact :(
And now that I've gone with black groupset, finishing kit, headset just a silver crankset might look odd .. still havent decided on paint though. Fallback is pearl white. I was also thinking grey to white fade ..
If I have to resort to third party then White Ind VBC for sure.

Thats what I struggled with the idea of 7800 .. there was never a compact version of the crankset. I'd have had to resort to FC-R700 to go compact.
I dont like the idea of third party crankset with Shimano. Their front shift performance is optimal with their own cranksets. Otherwise a clear answer is White Ind.
