Thats what I struggled with the idea of 7800 .. there was never a compact version of the crankset. I'd have had to resort to FC-R700 to go compact.
I dont like the idea of third party crankset with Shimano. Their front shift performance is optimal with their own cranksets. Otherwise a clear answer is White Ind.

But shifting performance will still be Sora, not DA.
Unless you meant it looking better with the DA chainset
