£35 for the velocity rim, 36 spoke holes. Machined brake surface. Brand new, was going to build it up but never did.

WANTED: Bike for my girlfriend.

So, the Mrs would like to start riding to work which in Lewes.
Before she buys something on the cycle scheme she wants to see if she's up to it. And if she really enjoys it may spend more on the scheme.
She's a little lady, around 5'3.
As it's a tester bike we want to spend <£100.

dude, i have a little Orbea low pro which is metallic grey and light pink/purple ish, would want a bit more like £150 though to be honest. it needs some new tyres and ideally a new chain as its rusty.

its Reynolds 500 frame its got budget gears on for some reason but the rest is decent component wise. even so its a small ladies bike with lots of potential. let me know if youre interested ill get a pic up.

ive had a look at that bike and i would do it less if you wanted it. it has a seized seatpost so couldnt ask £150

Anyone got a beater front wheel with QR they want rid of?

I do. Breaking surface is almost gone and one spoke is broken but it's true and light, will swap for some bars or just a beer.
UPDATE: all spokes good, it's a nice wheel

Sounds good, what bars are you after? I think I have some nice 3t anodised classic style drops, some more modern (possibly deda?) black drops or might have some silver risers somewhere too?

Edit: Also just found some super wide cinelli drops, think they were designed for mountain biking in the 90's (Mental)
