Which means I would probably have to go for the 107mm jis version.

If you need 111mm ISO, then you could use 109mm JIS: https://www.lfgss.com/comments/8756147/

Thanks for the info! I'll be getting a 110mm iso spindle from here and try it with that first before I go down the jis route.
