Knocked the Swiss Stop on the head and while the Kool Stop Salmon are a bit sticky they were über fantastic braking descending Colney Hatch Lane in the drizzle on Saturday morning.

Saying that probably the DT460 are sticky should have got Belgiums.

S&S are on their way ..

All of those bits?
Including those brakes?
But that crankset isn't Paul! -
• #739
Brakes will have to be sold and no hubs as I've got those cheap Cosine wheels from Wiggle.
Rest yep. Cant find decent groupset image for R3000 .. maybe there is a reason ;)
Interesting thing is the short cage mech can take 11-32 as well! So @Sparky you might see this appear in the Alps :P
But for short term dignity have gone for 11-28. Nice cassette at 249g

It will almost weigh as much as the Garden Bridge tho
-
• #741
That would make it a weightweenie bike though, as the Garden Bridge will never exist.

• #742
might have to do it for the comedy value amongst the Etape MAMIL carbon fibré
-
• #743
You can wipe the smiles off their smug MAMIL faces by dropping them all for minutes on the descent of the Vars.
-
• #744
You're the biggest MAMIL ever. You're the son they wish they had.

My current descending skills are a bit

It's okay, the Vars doesn't have any tricky bits as I recall.
Which is lucky considering you'll have those Paul brakes.
Almost art isn't it?
