I like. They last a while and don't lose their shape in multiple washes.
Generally I've found:
Continental cotton: Loses shape in washes, XL sizes too small for some.
Continental bamboo: Very nice but some people dislike the fit, and it limits the type of printing (what's the point of going ethical and bamboo and then using Earth damaging inks on it?), XL sizes also too small and no XXL available.
American Apparel cotton: Holds shape, keeps colour, durably stitched, not organic, XXL not as large as some would like.
Gildan cotton: Holds shape fairly well, keeps colour, not organic, Small and Medium neck quite narrow, Small and Medium are larger than expected, good for XXL sizes.
Given that Medium and Large will make up the majority of shirts produced, the American Apparel is a really good base T. It has a few weak areas, but not as many as the others.
Also... some of this is from experience, 90% of what I wear are template T-shirts I buy cheaply from wholesalers ;) I do enjoy my no logo T's.
Thanks for the in depth reply!
I bow to your experience, but was thinking more along the lines of Velva Sheen or some of the premiere Euro brands.
Cheers
