My first cat (the wife had them all through growing up). He's eight weeks and only been with us a day but seems happy - he's confined to the living room and I'm at home, checking in periodically (and losing the next hour to playing).
Oh, he's called Ned.

Cat.containment.system. ......CAT! Well i wish them the best of luck with that. Mine would just run out the front door, or when quarantining a retired breeding queen maine coon we rehomed, she jumped out the fucking window. Second floor window.
No prison can hold a cat if it wants out badly enough. -

Nice kitten. He looks happy

We looked into that but it didn't work for our garden. We have mesh up instead and it has worked fine for the past 18 months or so.

Happy first cat.

I work in other people's gardens every day and have seen a few cat proofing systems but that's certainly the neatest, overhanging mesh on sprung brackets is the most common, a nightmare to work around. As soon as you add trees, sheds or similar into the equation it all goes out the window though.

Burgling houses never gets any easier does it?

He looks like he's going to be a biggun' when he grows up

Ah,so it is. I used to have a 20 and the sequencer, fabulous things. I virtually gave them away when they were worth nothing......sobs

Ah amazing! It sounds great but I'm still hoping they reissue the vocoder as well. I nearly bought an original 20 a few years back when they were ~700 and was gutted when they doubled in price. Thought they might keep going up but korg blew that up with the mini being 99% of the synth for 25% of the price.

Made friends with Olly the Brockley Cat of Sainsburys fame yesterday. He often visits the homebrew shop Water into Beer. He's quite belligerent and has drawn blood on customers before but he allowed me to stroke him so I'm counting us as BFFs now.

Went to that shop for the first time the other night - lovely it was. Very sweet couple who run it.

Ouch.
Imagine if they were the size of labradors...

Went in to the garden yesterday and the cat appeared to be having some sort of meeting with the neighbours cat. They usually just fight and chase each other off but some sort of agreement seems to have been made.
