I've gone full Corny, but this is pretty much on the money;

Wenger's desire to protect the development of players like Coquelin is why Arsenal are damned to repeat the same pattern year in, year out until he leaves. It's also telling that players are upset by private criticism, the poor wee lambs.

Kane is pretty good

Silly celebration though. Should have points deducted for that.

I captained our team for the first time today.
We lost 8-0, and one of our players who had been subbed came on to the pitch with an umbrella to try and twat another.
Pretty good day all in all.
That said, this guy was playing for them, which was a bit much:

Big win today, thought we were putting some distance between us and third place, but city are a point behind and with a game in hand..
Would love it if we pipped Chelsea for the title, but that's not going to happen, no matter how much @WornCleat keeps invoking the reverse hex.
So I'm just keeping my fingers crossed for us to finish above Arsenal and automatic qualification for the champions league.. -

You choked last year with only Leicester to pip to the title, ain't no way you'll hold your nerve to pip Chelsea.

to finish above Arsenal and automatic qualification for the champions league
Even if you won the league you'd still contrive somehow to finish behind Arsenal.

You beat Everton at home 3-2. An important win; not a big win.

Tough game for us tonight. We have lost every time we have played at the Olympic Slush Fund Pit.
Man City's to loose.

Liverpool so depressingly inconsistent. Put a decent team in front of us and we beat them or hold them to a draw. Put the bottom feeders in front and we lose.
What gives? -
• #134588
you're still living in an "alternative facts" world where Liverpool are favorites for the title, so I'm okay with saying it's a big win, against a team that's had a good run of wins, and performances over the last month or so.

As statements of the bleeding obvious go, Corney, dear chap, that one really takes the biscuit. Only an Arsenal fan wanting Wenger to leave, doesn't want his team to pip Chelsea (and everyone else) for the title.

Precisely. An important win. 5-0 over Everton is a big win. 3-2 is an important one.
-
• #134592
said more in a karmic sense, for the joy your team took in ending our title challenge last season, how sweet it would be for Spurs to do the same to you this season.
As I said not going to happen, but the possibility of it happening, makes me happy. -

Because I'm really fucking clever?

Because I'm really fucking clever?
Not "clever" necessarily; just in tune with the bizarre machinations of dear Corney's thoughts.
-
• #134595
I am really fucking clever though.
-
• #134596
or the other two are really fucking dim! and you're intelligence is of the normal average kind..
-
• #134597
You're?
FUCK ME.
And you're throwing around insults about intelligence?

(kingdom of the blind etc. and so on)

Lol. Seriously though. Tottenham won't finish above Arsenal
Chelse
City
Arsenal
Tottenham
Scum

Let's hope you stick to that next weekend.
Wasn't far out with my prediction.
