Nice, love a 90s Kona.

Drop to £200. The mudguards are now not included(unless you really want them) but will include a matching pink elite macan cage instead.

Are the tyres are of any value to you? I would be putting chunky road going tyres on it anyway...

I'd knock a tenner off if you don't want them, would still be of use to me. You can have the inner tubes and nifty pink valve caps though as everything else in the house is presta ;)

Weren't these £250 new?
90s bikes are a good investment!Solid frames these. Last forever.

I have no idea, was only 5 in 1990!
It feels like a hell of a lot of bike for what I'm asking but know it's not a rare or fancy model that commands crazy money. It's just a nice mtb for playing in the woods on. -

Savage price drop. £170.
I think it's worth every damn penny and some more. -

You will most likely get a more appreciative audience on retrobike for your Kona.
:) -

You're probably right. I am a member on there but expect to be ripped to shreds for it not being 100% original.
Will give it a week on here then try it over there... -

Must .... resist ....
Can't believe this hasn't sold yet.

I know, was on eBay for a bit, tons of watchers but no bids so thought I'd give it another try on here now the suns out.
Would make a radular commuter/functional bike too probably.... -

I had the same year as this but a Fire Mountain... bloody great bikes!

^ It's def a nifty frame. Literally the only bike I've ever been able to wheelie with the same conviction as the average 13yr old yoot. I also relearned bunny hops on it having not done them in 15+yrs... I suck at biek so therefore it must be good.
I will def own another old Kona but it's one in one out right now and getting my new ogre is my first priority!

Love me an old Kona!
This is a '91 Hahanna, the first year it was offered. It's the lowest model that Kona did, so holds it little appeal to collectors. They're great, sturdy frames though, and the geo is great for all day comfort. I rode my '90 Lava Dome on a European tour fully loaded and it was amazing.
GLWS!

Thanks for the extra information. From what I've read its still a full cromo frame same as some of the nicer models just with a boat anchor groupset, 2 part seatpost and nasty brake calipers - all of which I replaced. At least the wheels are decent.
I can include the original parts if the buyer really wants them but they're shite!£165 final drop. Just think, you could be bowling around in the sunshine, like a G on a bright pink Kona right now...

Fuck it, gonna keep it for my commuter. Was too cheap already.
Withdrawn. -
• #23
You made the right decision.
-

Ta, gonna steal wald, 'guards and slicks of my MuddyFox and sell that instead as the Kona fits me better anyway.

I think what differentiates this frame from the other higher end models is that this doesn't have butted tubing - I have one as well though, and it does make a mean commuter/mess around bike
Just built this up but I really want a dedicated off road tourer so along with my Cilo it has to go.
I ditched the heavy chainset and other really crap parts but 90% original. Saddle not included in sale.
Frame - 18" Kona Hahanna in hhspink. Project two forks in black(some bubbling under paint but fine)
Velocity stem/Kona racelite bars. Nos onza porcipaws grips.
Kalloy post.
LX rapidfire levers and cantis - rebuilt and new pads, shifters in a+ condition.
Sugino triple chainset.
Deore dx front mech.
200gs rear mech.
Cheap flat pedals
Shimano/araya wheels
26x2.1 Schwalbe city jets
Since being rebuilt it's only been used half a dozen or so times and rides like a dream. Paint is worn but no bad scrapes, dents or damage.
£220 > now £160 cash on collection E17.
