It was called 'euro' and it was pretty shit.
The small shell and large axle meant tiny bearings which didn't last long at all. I remember mates with euro frames going through a bb a week.
If you must do it, use a crank like a Profile that has a 19mm axle as opposed to cranks like Primos that use 22mm axle.
