They're 170's unfortunately, and yes, they're will be going to be replaced with 7710 once I'll dig out my spares.
They look ok at first, but the whole idea of something made with badly fitting original chainring isn't my idea of quality. Miche never had me on their side. -

dibs when you sell etc. didnt see it before! very nice!

I try to treat my bikes well, but last few years haven't been good for me, scrapping a frame a year. I hope this one will last a bit longer.

Yeah I'm not a massive fan but a colleague has been inspired by my gun slinging fixie stylin and is resurrecting his old "fixie" but he needs cranks. As far as miche go they are pretty interesting.
Hope your relationship with Donohue is long and happy.
Pending your willingness to
Post and price I might like the cranks for my Argos.... -

Sorry, just seen the edit! You know I can post as done it many times before :)

Ah well I don't like to presume... let me know what you think, I would also like to buy a few bags of whatever you're roasting at the moment (assuming you're still in the coffee game)

Would anyone know where to go to double check a Paul Donahue frame number? Just want to check its "legit". Thanks
-
• #384
Don't know, but my 853 Millenium doesn't have a frame number and I bought it new from the man himself around year 2000.

Post a couple of pics on here. You can at least get a forum opinion.
-
• #386
Does it really matter? If it's a good frame it's a good frame, not like you've got a rare 'nag on your hands.

tiny 853 PD for sale over on pinkbike, only £250
looks 3 sizes too small for current owner!

Hi All,
I'm emigrating to Australia therefore selling off some bikes. I have a Paul Donohue Road Bike that unfortunately needs repaired. Rather than see it binned I'd rather give it to someone who would like to fix it. I'm offering it for free - the full details of it you can find on the Singletrackworld forum here. I'll add a photo of it below. Feel to free to get in touch if you're interested!

What are the quotes you've had for repair? I've got a damaged Donohoe too (but on the seatstay).
-
• #390
Roughly £150 to cut out and replace the seat tube + whatever the cost of respraying is which obviously varies depending on what finish you want.

I'm selling this frame shortly, any ideas of current value given Wiggo's rise to fame ?? needs restoring back to original.
-
• #392
Restoration takes it down a bit, but if you can confirm the frame number with PD or GW then I dunno... a grand for the frame maybe if someone was really passionate about Wiggo? More as the identical build. You see the ex-Boardman Lotus frames going for quite a whack but they are unique frames in and of themselves-I've seen ex-Obree frames go for a few hundred, but obviously he's not got the popular acclaim of Wiggo even if he's a stone cold legend in his own right....

£150-250

Everytime I'm about ready to finish this bike some other shit happens, this time my phone is kaput. So, if anyone wants to take it of my hands, 260 notes and it's yours. There are some details on a previous page.

I will shortly be disposing of some small track bikes that kids have outgrown.
They are steel Reynolds 651 tubing Paul Donohue frames with Miche Pista groupset with 650C wheels the smaller 38cm bikes have 155mm cranks .
PM if interested in more details .

Just bought the bike @DoktorPepe listed above. Cracking ride which I'm really enjoying so far, but interested to find out more about the frame. Managed to find a very faint frame number on the bottom bracket.
Frame # is 4489399, the format seems to tally with other frames I've found :

Anyone have an opinion?
Cheers

Here's mine, post a caustic soda-related seatpost removal: 853 millenium

Just finished sorting this out. It is miles too long for me but it is so smooth in comparison to my Allez, just need to find a shorter stem!

Some compact drops would make a huge difference as well. Something like a deda piega could easily take 20mm off the length compared to the current bars by the looks of it!

Yes slightly shorter stem and compact drops will make a massive difference.
If you don't believe us maybe consider a bike fit. (They will tell you same but charge $$$)
Yeah. I moved quick once I saw it and had no idea of sizing but was told they already had a buyer. No worries. Glad someone will treat it well.
