Just completed this build:

Mostly utilised parts I had lying around.

Saddle needs to go, bar tape is very cheap and feels like it, so that will be changed. Wheels need a slight true, which I will take care of later.

Took it for a quick test 'round the block - think it will be a keeper.

The colour is simply lovely.

Picked up some absolutely unnecessary wheels which means this is now 'finished'.

They've worked for me, and so cheap.

I gave up on that after 50, just trying not to grow out is challenge enough.

Yep. Dropped it off at LndVelo so they can true the wheels.

Yeah, to be honest I've left it far too late to grow up.

Perhaps I should just retire and move to the South Coast.

We both know its a Shimano groupset and one less frame pump away from 'finished' ;-)

It's actually a Maxi Sport EL/OS TT with track ends now, long story, not my story...

Dingle-speed fixed nearly complete. Just need to swap the axle out for a QR

Also an option. Thought I'd give a QR a go and see how it works out. I can always switch back.
