Just in case someone misses the wanted ad:
A friend is looking for a 56cm CAAD10/12 frame. Rim brake model with Di2 cable routing option.
Would prefer a new frame if possible. I've done the usual search of triton / pauls / westbrook etc.
Anyone got one of these lying around?

I'm considering a CAAD9 on sale on the forum. Wanted to check what is the max tyre clearance for this frame? I've always used 28s and wonder if it can handle that, or if I need to go down to 25/26.

28s squeezed in my caad7
Never tried / neaded 28s on my caad9
I'd test first if you really need to use 28s regardless of rim width.

I want to change my components to my supersix evo, like stem, handlebar and seatpost.
Which brand should I go? I was thinking about Zipp -

Really depends on your budget, and if stuff fits you.
Go all out and get AX Lightness everything.

zipp, 3T, Thomson (bars are expensive), Pro

Anybody have an idea what the tire clearance is on a 2012 Caad10?
And what should I be paying on a barely used stock with 10sp 105? -
• #7591
should take 28c easily

• #7592

I've a set of crud mk3s brand new £20?
-
• #7594
What can you get under there? 25s? 28s? (I don't think I want 28s)
-
• #7595
People have snuck PDWs in there I think. Not sure if the 2012 model year makes a difference.
-
• #7596
I don't really want to put a pair of mudguards that have the same mass as the frame on there.
-
• #7597
You asked for options, PDW is an option.
Who gives a shit how much they weigh - they keep your bum dry and look good.
-
• #7598
I give a shit. I'm the customer.
Also. PDW can get to fuck. -
• #7599
Did PDW murder a close family member of yours?
-
• #7600
Go PDW. The black ones will look good; all other mudguards are disposable bullshit.
ye depends a lot on saddle as well. Most people have to remove 10mm going from normal to smp etc
