They do seem light but was going off internet wieghts! I just used the Stans tape (I think I used the cheap copy off ebay Tesa 4289), two layers and stans sealant (on crest rims) Went up easy and stayed up after the initial drop over night whilst the sealant sealed around the edges, etc.
Had a puncture last night going home and it sealed itself and still up this morning
Front went up after a bit of fiddling. Rear is being a right fucker. Double wrapped stans to no avail. Gonna head scratch and figure it out tomorrow maybe. Neither rim or tyre are tubeless so might be it...but I'll make this goddamned combo work if it kills me. TUBELESS ALL THE THINGS
I would try another layer of tape and soapy water and if that doesn't work find someone with a compressor...my front went up with a track pump but I had to use my compressor on the rear!
