Take a chance I guess, but the Seagull movement is standard issue Chinese military and seems pretty bomb proof. (Apparently it was refined from a Swiss movement back in the day.)
I would have thought most of the components were made of cheese, but at that price point around a ton, a mechanical manual chronometer is a tall order.
The winding pin is a bit sensitive IMO and needs to be given a slow steady wind every day (about 20 winds) to give 24hrs.
Also the acrylic glass will scratch when u look at it.
But it is not 50-100k so what does it matter. Bit of blurb...
