She's a beaut!
Okay, sold. I'll try some silver/chrome ones for starters. With the fork and rear stays it might balance out quite nicely.

Is there any panto at all?
I guess it's been resprayed? Maybe be a Super Sprint, as the C90s didn't have those slightly wrap around seat stays.
-
• #2390
I'm happy to be corrected, but any 90s* Colnago would have panto surely, especially the bottom bracket shell?
*based on the internal brake cable routing on the top tube.

• #2391
They will all have some panto, but the C90s had a bottom bracket like the one pictured with no Colnago markings.

Super 91 has those wraparound stays and the same bb shell plastic cable guide. Also has the same head tube lugs. I think that's a strong contender. Super sprint often had 'cromor' panto on bb shell but as @606 likely spotted it has a cromor columbus cromor decal but Possible this was put on if resprayed

This IS a Super 91, repainted but shows the stays and headtube lugs.
Super 91 also has internal cable routing, front entry point under the top tube and rear exit on top

Also judging from panto on fork crown it's late 80s which sits well for SUPER 91

Thanks guys! Knew I could count on you, JusCos you're a living legend.
So, Super 91 = a lower level Super I guess. I'm actually thinking this is original paint, seller's uncle who died apparently was a huge bike nerd and kept his stuff in pristine condition. Theres a sticker from the shop he bought it from on the DT.
£350, too much?

Super 91 was indeed lower level but its still a colnago Super! It's indicative of the tubing type (original decal would've said colnago Super 91) rather than the year. If that is the original decal then it rather poo poos my theory though. They weren't clearcoated over but applied over the paint so potentially it was replaced???
super frames alone of any variety rarely sell less than £300 online so yes I think it's a good price for the complete bike. Plus we always need another bike ;-)

The Super Sprint I've attached is from 1988, it's SL, "wrap around" seat stays with no panto, but doesn't have through the top-tube cable routing. The Super 91 does have through the top-tube routing, but as has been said it's got a different decal. At some point 89/90 they would have changed to ttttcr, but maybe kept the SL. I think at least one of those years was called the Super Sprint, but got no catalogue proof, though it could have been called something different, or the sticker might have been changed...
The Super Piu has panto on the seat stays.
