I had this problem when I got mine. If I remember correctly it's just brute force. I seem to remember swearing profusely and sweating a lot. Mole grips and a towel to try to prevent scratching the end caps.

Hey thx for the reply!! I also was about to use brute force but without having a good way to grab the end caps i just decided to return to the bike shop, he did it in 10 seconds with a soft vice with protected grip! perfect!!
does your QR end cap for the back wheel fall on its own if you dont have the quick release there? mine does...its still a snug fit but just does not want to stay putt!!!

hey guys, just got myself a pair of Dt Swiss R24 spline disk.... i managed to convert the rear hub to 135QR but i am having trouble with the front.... i have a standard fork with 100QR and there are lots of adaptors in the dt swiss box, problem is, i cannot take out the "adaptor" the hub already has!! please help!!
