Is this crabon?
EDIT: Just read your previous page post. Looks lush and definitely be a nice upgrade to your current frame if you have that in mind.

Is that the di2 version? Saw that on the 'bay. Was tempted but at the heart of if I'm an old fuddy duddy who thinks why mess with something so functional and simple... and what's this new fangled 'carbon' stuff everyone's talking about. Plus I've got a 105 gathering dust in my office.
Ps. I'm touched you don't want me to die on your used deathtrap.
Pps. Where did you get your bikefit? Was it £££?

What is the black bar tape? Sorry if previously mentioned.

Nope, that's the normal cable one. Absolute blinder of a colourway, for once.
Bikefit was done by @jammy, aka Camber . Give him an email at Andy@Camber dot cc and tell him I sent you. Both the cheapest and the best bike fit I've ever had. I saw 3 previous fitters to try and fix a back problem, including some big names, but only Andy actually sorted it out. He is the best. Go to him.

Fizik Microtex Soft Touch in grey. Rather matches the pink, imo.

OK so, when my frame was repaired the new dropout was 2mm closer to the BB than the NDS. I dremelled a little bit of the rear face of the dropout away so I could align the wheels. Now it's starting to slip, despite my efforts at clamping it up tight.
What can I use as a shim to keep the wheel in place? Can I get the coke can and scissors out or am I going to have to fabricate something?
The other option, which I have begin to explore, is a 52cm CAAD12 painted to replace this.

Second question - Ultegra calipers are going to be easier to centre and align than SRAM Red ones, despite tight cable bends and a small frame with stupidly placed internal routing, correct?
The Sram ones will go on my Genesis so no great issue there.

yes

why not use a thick washer and file it down?

I'm sure I saw this at Howling Hops the other day! Post-ride I'm guessing...

• #837
You did indeed. Post race, in fact.

Ultegra brakes > SRAM single pivot idiot bastard things. All alignment issues solved immediately.

Ultregra 6800 brakes are so so good.

Sooooooo much better than the SRAM RED ones they replaced. They actually work! Top shit.
Slightly annoyed I haven't got DA9100 for this, but cash on fire dot gif

+1,000 yeah they're little beefcakes for sure.
Going to stick these wheels on it and get Jammy to check the fit.
@r_mash unfortunately I wouldn't feel right selling it, even if I did replace it. I don't mind riding repaired carbon because I'm an idiot with a deathwish, but I don't think I would sleep well passing that risk on to someone else.
