MKS Sylvan suddenly make sense when you wear an old shoe with a slotted cleat.
I have Wellgo LU-950 flats with toeclips on a couple of my bikes. First set must be well over 10 years old now and have maybe 15k miles or more on them. They're quite easy to flip over and kick your feet into - main reason I like them.
