I don't think I can squeeze more than the current 25c GP4000SII in the back. The front is a bit roomier.
Maybe with a wider rim? -

25c is fine.
Frame is hot hot hot. Dibs when you pass away or decide to sell.

You can inherit it, if Jonas doesn't grow tall enough.

that's beautiful! If I may, I would keep it as simple as possible. No shouty or extravagant parts, that paintjob does it all.

OR 10 and mavic hubs

Yeah, that was the plan. The shoutiest bit is going to be the white paddles on the shifters. Otherwise just a black Rival groupset, black bartape and black parts.

I expect if you measure your 25 gp4000 with calipers you will find it around 27 on a narrow rim.

I'm long past growing age.

Hmm, maybe the green line on some 27c Open Pavés would compliment the frame nicely?

Cnc-bike. Not sure yet but i think it would hold up pretty well and be easy to apply. Looks pretty dope too.

Is it a compact or a standard chainset?
I've got a set of the chunkier black Rival chainrings in compact if you're interested?

My 8 spd mech just went through my wheel, I've a 9 SPD 105 lying about, would that work with 8 spd Microshift shifters ?
Thought this was probably the best place to ask. -
• #112917
Yes, shouldn't be a problem.
-
• #112918
Ace, cheers, looks like I just need to get the wheel sorted then 👍

More progress on the man cave, put in 6 small shelve and had a tidy. Bought some wood for big shelves so still some to put up and loads of stuff to sort and tidy. Getting there though.

Nicely done man. I need a man cave, gotten tired of having bike stuff all over the apartment

Really interested in this, looking forward to seeing what 650's it clears. The matching forks look almost suspension corrected, are they?
Would be better if it was bsa though, not sure how much I trust press fit for mud.

Thats boss. Needs a big vice though, everything needs a big vice.

Me too. I think the rear will clear 48's. Not a huge deal if it doesn't though. Not sure what cheap-ish carbon forks will.
I don't think the frame was made for sus-corrected forks. Although he has written fork length 395-420. A normal 400mm tapered fork will prob be the best match.
