Hang on, reading this I assumed you DNF'd but saw you on the results sheet. Did you finish on a puncture or fix it? Either way you still finished 43rd out of 80 finishers ffs!

So at 12 miles I got the pinch flat, I cycled about a mile on the puncture, spotted a guy with a marshal. He gave me an inner tube, but his co2 pump wasn't working, so only got a little air in it. Cycled another mile and another marshal, he had a pump that worked so I pumped the tyre up, then cracked back on for the last 8 miles.
Might as well race it back in, beats walking!

Changed my rear tyre to a gp4000s so I didn't puncture, and obviously I get a rear tyre puncture.
It could have been avoided, but I got held up at a junction and was paying attention to the car, not the road and went into a pothole. Bit pissed as the car was following someone in the race. Wish I knew who, so I could point them to the rules. They held me up on a couple of occasions, nob end.
Great event though, love hardrider events, best type of timetrial.
