  • Coming from a carbon bike about a kilo lighter than the cannondale I was very surprised to feel that it rides like a much lighter bike. Found myself spinning a higher cadence where I was more used to grinding a bigger gear on my bmc so that's odd. But yes I know what you mean. It's stiff in the right ways. The carbon soaks up road vibrations nicely whilst the rear end is nice and stiff, you really shoot forward with every pedal stroke.
    Thoroughly enjoyed it.

  • Yeah, definitely felt good climbing compared to my CAAD10 (I took 10% off a long held PR on a hill sprint) and less harsh on crappy roads.

    Probably down to setup. The System 6 is a great frame. The CAAD10 is a modern frame :)
