Hopefully they work this time..
I'm away for two weeks boarding but think this will hit eBay at a rather inflated price once I'm back. It's too good and too much for me at this point in life and no matter how I look at things I'll always want a custom roadie.. Call it ocd but hey ;) -
• #16
So much want. But I want a bike that can take 650b and also mudguards.
-
• #17
Thankfully it is too short in top tube and too long on the head tube as my 56cm cannondale synapse fits perfectly.
-
• #18
Cheers man. It supports the first two, unfortunately the geo is the one that can't be changed ;) they can cobble a custom geo'd one together for you if you have a few spare cars etc to sell to get the funds :) T

The headtube would mean I could slam the stem comfortably. The reach is 1.3 cm too short.
Moots stack 60.1 reach 37.3
Cannondale stack 59 reach 38.6Sad for me but good for bank balance.
-
• #20
10-15mm extra on the stem and job done ;) bank balance is always the one that suffers..
-
• #21
Can it take a rack?
What is the current tip of saddle to handlebar length?
-
• #22
But just revisited pics and you have a Scoble perch of ugliness so this won't help establish what I wish to know.
-
• #23
Haha yeah I like short reach and higher saddle. Plus we all need to get on the Scoble scale ;)
Saddle top to BB centre is 79cm. Tip to bar centre is 64.5cm odd from memory.
Yup it's the extra moots add on of muddies and rack option.
Cheers! -
• #24
is the groupset for sale on its own ? you don't mention the customary no split :)
-
• #25
saddle tip to bar centre seems rather long - can you measure it?
(ignore me don't do it as I can't afford this and wife would kill me)
Evening.
No I am not drunk. Yes this is for real. I know I've just bought it but some big changes in life seem to be coming and Mr Moots may have to take the brunt. These frames, second-hand, are rarer than real Haggis charging around the Scottish Highlands or Nessie coming up to say hello. The price is set. If he doesn't sell then it's off to ebay and if he doesn't sell there I'll keep him but it's not ideal and tbh a waste on me. I'm asking what I paid from the USA and it's thousands of pounds less than would be paid here..
I've cycled approx 50 miles on it and the ride is faultless. Smooth, responsive, smashes all terrain. Possibly one of the best dirt-road do-all bikes out there and built by one of the best manufacturers in the world.
So..
Please ask with any q's. I'd prefer meeting up in person due to the value and size of the bike but if needed I can post in a ridiculously well packaged box I received it from America in. They seriously know how to box a bike.
Moots Ti Routt 55cm stock geometry
Di2 routing, rear rack mount braze-ons (all heavy money extra)
Enve CX fork
Full Shimano Ultegra Di2 Hydraulic disc brake groupset
Stan's Notubes Valour Pro wheelset (bullet proof, all mountain, 1350g for front and back)
CK i7 Headset
Minor parts I can detail upon request. The seat and seatpost will be different as will the handlebars.
All parts have done approx 50miles if not less, that includes the wheels. Everything functions absolutely as new and there are no faults whatsoever. It's as new without being new as you can get.
Overall it'd cost £9000+ on average to build this setup. The frame alone is £5.5k new (without Di2 or braze-ons) in the UK.
I'm looking £5500 firm.
With a tear in my eye, thanks. Tom
