Pretty crazy to see how much the magenta faded over the years, but I think the pink looks even better

The first couple photos make the colors look really dull but in reality they are extremely bright. For reference here are some common fluorescent items to compare (don't worry they won't be used on this bike)

Reproduction 440 decals should be much better than the 909 red

Doesn't look like enough slack in the front/rear De cable housing..

There's quite a bit, the cables just bend inwards sideways so in profile photos it looks nonexistent

...and change the pedals and cockpit

Yes the pedals and seatpost need to change. Any recommendations? The modolo cockpit is what I had for now is it that bad?

Black flite, black bar tape and some compact drops and that's done.
I found an tiny picture on Craigslist NY of a Serotta Colorado that seemed to be a fluorescent magenta to bodacious blue fade and somewhat large, so I offered an optimistic number for the complete bike or for the frameset if he was willing to split. Surprisingly the seller accepted if I could pick it up immediately. I wasn't able to myself but managed to have my friend go grab it for me if it was in decent condition and eagerly awaited photos. The bike was covered in dirt but looked much better than expected and seeems to be a perfect hhsrb basis. And on top it was my perfect size 59.
The initial plan was to clean it up and install a non T. rex sized stem and bars, modern groupset and some slave worthy wheels.
Once I rode it though the mixed tricolor and 7400 group seems to be functioning perfectly and will be more than adequate for a while. The ideal would be a new polished Potenza 11 group down the line. For wheels I have a spare 909 front zipp that I will try to make into a neon logo 440 clone and find something to make a matching rear. It needs gumwall tubes of course. The second option would be a 12 spoke set of shamals I was saving for something worthy, maybe if this ends up going 11 speed later.
