I'd entertain the idea if they did as good a job as the velotoze and I knew they'd last a number of years but most of the reviews seem to suggest that most of these lightweight type overshoes aren't built to last. Seems they're more or less a 'replace each season' type garment, if that's the case I'd probably take my chances with the velotoze.

I think if you want something more durable you'll need to look for something in a ticker material and with a zip on the back. Something like this?
The Velotoze are great but in my opinion they're more of a race day item.
