Simply lovely! I have a Grubb from 55-56 and yours judging by the head badge could be 63-64, but this is just a rough guess. Love the Nervex lugs:) Been using mine as a winter bike in Finland for the past four years and it's a joy to ride. GLWS!

I love the frame and currently deciding wether to try it or not.
I had a look at Grubb's frames and haven't seen yet with that seat cluster. But there aren't many pictures I could find in the little tine I could look around. -

The headbadge here as been re-painted, so we can't really use it for dating purposes unless we know for sure it's identical to the original.

Actually the headbadge is probably a sticker ordered from H-Lloyd possibly?
I assumed it replaced the identical original but may have assumed too much. Nonetheless, a thing of beauty and well worth the price. -

Yeah sorry I meant frame re-painted and new sticker added.
But yeah it does tick all the boxes for being a Holdsworthy built Freddie Grubb.
Which means single butted 531, but with nice Nervex Pro (2nd) lug set and nice fork crown.I won't be racing it, so I'm fine with it.

If anyone is interested I'm going to resell this. Other projects came to be and this won't be completed for a while.
Any interest for same price? Nothing changed, just been stored since I've got it (after having enjoyed looking at it for a bit)

Sold. :(
Classic vintage steel Freddie Grubb Track / Road Path Frame with Nervex lugs. I would not be offering this for sale if it was my size.
Track / road path frame made by the famous Freddie Grubb I am not sure of the age of this frame, the frame number is 2062. This has been renovated and finished in flamboyant red with gold lug lining and gold transfers, there are some build marks, check out those lugs and the fork blades.
The seat tube is 22” 55cm from centre to top and the top tube is 22” 55cm from centre to centre, there are mudguards eye. The rear is spaced at 110mm and the front at 95mm.
I am looking for £160 including the courier. The wheels are also for sale for £40. The rear is a double fixed Maillard hub built onto a Mavic Module 3 Argent D rim and the front is a Azzurro hub built onto a Wolber T430 rim
