Let's accentuate the positives.

On a positive note, we are now safe from relegation and cannot finish lower than 14th.

A 14th finish would be our worst league position certainly since the Premier League began but I would take it over relegation.

If we are to win the league* we can only afford to drop 7 points for the remainder of the season. Losses to ManU and City would require us to win all our remaining games. It is going to be tough.

*Presuming that City win all their remaining games.

To get a top four slot we can only afford to drop 9 points, again assuming that Tottenham and Arsenal win all their remaining games.

To put this into perspective we have already dropped 15 points this season and so it will be a close finish.

Liverpool's to lose.
