Ha! I can see why you would want it :) divs noted but I guess I'll keep this one for a while. Found it on french ebay listed for 100€ and sent the seller an offer that I would take it for 80€ partly because I was hoping he would decline since I already have too many bikes...

Fitted the grey Corsa's, don"t really know what to think.
Will just get gumwalls next time around.

Got the stem and the seatpost for the van haelen today. The finish is quite a good match despite the different materials. Still undecided whether to keep the decals on the stem or not. What's the best way to get rid of them? Am I right in assuming that it's probably best to cut the seatpost to avoid a stuck seatpost in the future?

It looks rediculously long, cut it. ;)
But greasing it from time to time helps too.

Doesn't stuckness of a seatpost happen at the clamping area? I.e. the length doesn't matter?
+1 for the Kalloy seatpost. ;)

Good question, I wouldn't know. I only dealt with shorter vintage seatposts so far, never had one of those kalloy ones. Desperate french diameters call for desperate measures...

I haven't got this yet.....

I had to cut mine because the seattube on my Salmon is reamed. Might be the same with your frame? Would probably have cut it anyway, dont need 30mm of seatpost in a frame.
Definitly grease it before insertion (no euph)

depends on tubing of course, but most are butted about 80mm below the seatpost clamp. Others are not..

Purchased the last bits for the Asmussen, a Deda Piega compact drop and a black ITM Eclypse stem. Picking the stem up monday, so might as well cut the steerer today and sort chain and housing lengths.
