STOLEN BIKE

Some fucker stole my bike from outside The Hackney Peddler.

Black Dave Quinn single speed. Black frame with white 'Dave Quinn' on the downtube, chrome ends front and rear, 1st gen DA crank, silver Archetypes on Ambrosio hubs, Pasela's, Brooks Cambium on BLB groove post (ball bearings are glued into both the underside of the saddle and the seatpost bolt), Dia Compe brakes, silver SR stem, silver bars and levers, Brooks grips.

I'll happily give a reward for his safe return.

Had my Ellis Briggs (which was for sale on here) stolen from my house in hackney on the weekend. Front door kicked in hallway job.

Brompton SL6 Black edition stolen on Lacy Road in Putney outside Halfords. Witnesses, but alas, nobody stopped them. If anybody see's one listed in London in brand new condition, please let me know.

Also, has anybody got a good list of sites to search, outside the usual eBay, Gumtree, Craigslist etc, for London listings?

New covent garden market, and brick lane tomorrow.

I think bikeshd.co.uk amalgamates all those sites, should make it easier to spot it...

Its a less than 24hr old Brompton, do they really have £1k+ brand new bikes at those places?

Most bike thieves don't give a damn about how new a bike is, they just want something they can sell easily. Bromptons meet that criteria, unfortunately.

Bought from the forum (well, the frame at least from @Richard_Castle) stolen from Southwark Street, outside the pret (SE1 0HX) tonight. Pretty sure Barry only made one of these frames so would be very likely to be mine if any of you lovely forum folk see it for sale. Componentry-wise, Zipp 303's campagnolo chorus 11s, cinelli handlebars. Double locked but to no avail. Sad times.

Ah no that's gutting. Hopefully the frame being pretty unique will mean it gets recognised by someone on here.

Would be a massive relief if someone did spot it but i know it's a bit of a long so shot. I'm following all the relevant eBay and gumtree searches and I'd hope that if someone was offered it for a 'steal' they'd recognise that it must be stolen...the wheelset alone is silly money...
the locks were a kryptonite flexible seperately padlocked through the rear/saddle/frame and d-lock through the front/frame

Directly outside the pret where the stands are? I lock my bike there all the time to go to the gym. Always thought it was fairly safe, but its brave to be locking that bike anywhere!

Did they cut through it?

I'm surprised no one saw considering its a main road and theres pret there. Is there any CCTV? I'll keep an eye out, but I'd be surprised if it hangs around the same area.

That's the spot. Opposite the mecure hotel. Lots of CCTV cameras so details given to police but i won't hold too much hope. Bolt cutters through both locks. I guess you can't be too careful anywhere but I'm of the mindset that the crooks have won if we all have to ride around on beaters...(Unless we don't crack down on them when they do strike that is!)

Stolen out side Bill's in Hammersmith Broadway last Saturday at 2pm. Reported to police. Have a lead on it as the day after it was stolen someone has tried to register it on Bike Register. Hopefully a well meaning dude that the police can catch up with and return to me, but all the same, if you see it or you've bought it, please get in touch. No insurance :(

Yes, street, not even for that long. Hiplok & Kryptonite Dlock, nothing left behind.

Had a Planet X taken last year near Kings Cross during a 1.5hr meal in a restaurant. Also locked with silver rated lock I think..

2 bikes stolen from our communal garden in brixton just off Acre Lane yesterday. They were taken from a garden shared with the 5 flats in the building which is gated so i'm not sure how they got in, unless the gate was left open? I'm also unsure of if we've got any rights insurance wise? the allez is prety common unfortunately but the langster not so much (The langster had been changed to flat bars with wrapped tape as well, which is pretty uncommon).

Stolen SW London, any help most appreciated

My GT was stolen in the last couple of days from where it was locked in Hackney.
It was in the bike park of a friends apartment. They have sawn through the NY Fahg lock.

If anyone sees it then let me know. :'(
