Sunny weather and free time today so I chased the sun while contemplating over selling this beast or not.
(Pro tip: if you're thinking about letting a frame go, going for a fast ride in the sun doesn't help in making up your mind.)

Unless you need the dollar, I wouldn't. Hang it up somewhere. They're a rare beast those frames.

That looks awesome. Don't sell.
Trying out yellow Fizik tape on my Gitane. Needs dirtying up a little

I know man this is the only one I've ever seen for sale. Like ever though. They were made in limited numbers back in 2000 as far as I know and has gotten 5/5 star reviews on the roadbikereview website. It's s killer frameset. It's not a financial issue, it's just that I've got 2 other roadbikes (a Klein and a Seven) and I really don't need a third one. Somehow, as many on here, I've accumulated far too many bikes and it's getting out of hand.

I mainly don't want you to sell it because I want it but I've got 3 road bikes on the go and also don't need another one.

Thanks man. Yellow and blue and s a classic combo, it works just fine.

The shop I work in has a NOS one hanging :)! What I just don't get is that the Integralters' bar angle doesn't work with the frameset while it appears to have been made for each other..

They came with the frame as far as I know and they work together imo, especially with the alter wishbone stays.

Did you have to buy this just to be sure? :)

Found this cheap frame. Probably pretty generic tubing and pressfit bb but should make a fun throwaround gnarbike. Already 3 bottle mounts, 44mm headtube and 650b capable so a pretty good base.
Anyone got experience with the type of hammered paint you sort of brush on? Looking for alternative ways to rustproof/paint it.

Super Pista, but yeh non original forks. Think they may even be road ones, but haven't seen anything better with enough steerer.
It's a nice colour, but it's a lot fattier than the pics show, quite hard to keep the rust from taking hold.

Like the sound of this already, build thread yeah? Also any plans for paint?

there's one going on ebay at the mo...
might be on the small side
it's been on there for ages, might be room for a lowball offer
-
• #112874
thanks but it is indeed small and does not have the cnc rear end (nor the integralters)
would be satisfied with a black integralter for my pesenti to tick the crazy cinelli design in my life :)

got this Laurie Dawe home to strip down and clean, from what I can tell it's Columbus SL tubing built in the early 80's...the build parts seem to be period correct:
Mavic OR10 rims laced to Malliard track hubs
SR Laprade fluted seatpost
Sakae CR cranks and BB- came fitted with a 42t but also came with the original 52t ring
Viscount aero leather saddle
headset is a mystery nondescript itempaint is really ratty and will stay that way, seems to have been fitted with a rear clamp on brake at some stage (tape marks on rear stays and rim ano worn through on rear)

And a matchy Wolber TX or Profile 20 Rear rim
